AL1040, AL1080, and AL1120 all run the same relay matrix core and the same ALVNA Interface Software. What changes between them is how many test points you get out of the box, and how far each one scales.

AL1040 · 6U unit

Standard performance

80 base test points, expandable to 320. Sweep tests up to 40 points per test route. A cost effective entry point for PCBA and product validation testing.

AL1080 · 9U unit

Advanced performance

160 base test points, expandable to 640. Sweep tests up to 80 points per test route. Built for higher density, higher mix production.

AL1120 · 12U unit

Ultimate performance

240 base test points, expandable to 960. Sweep tests up to 120 points per test route. The flagship configuration for demanding production floors.

Built in house in California, with the potential to support 10,000+ test points for large scale automated testing and system validation.

Every tier ships with a full ALVNA Interface Software license: channel control, automated test execution, and data acquisition management across all supported channels.

HARDWARE

Built to be opened, not just plugged in.

Every unit ships in a lockable rack enclosure with a clear front panel: power distribution, signal instrumentation, and relay banks are all labeled and accessible. When something needs attention, your technician doesn't need to call us to find it.

A controller unit sits between the user interface and the relay matrix, talking to power supplies, measurement units, and the device under test over standard interfaces.

RELAY MATRIX

Channels grouped, not tangled.

Relay banks are organized into labeled groups on the board itself, so scaling from one test group to eight doesn't mean relearning the wiring.

SOFTWARE

Live control, and a full record of every run.

The same interface your team uses to build a test sequence is the one they use to run it live, read the results back, and keep a record of what happened.

Name it, describe it, enable it

Build a sequence step by step: reset device, set intervals, query identification, change measurement type, each step named, described, and toggled on or off.

Live control

Connect and send commands directly

Quick command buttons for the standard SCPI set (*IDN?, *RST, *CLS, *OPC?, *ESR?, *TST?) plus a raw command input for anything else.

Custom test scripts

Reusable, per group, versioned

Scripts like self test and channel sweep run with setup, per group main steps, and cleanup built in, and stay versioned as they're refined.

Test result summary

Operator, board, duration, all logged

Every run records the operator, the golden board used, the unit under testing, step count, duration, and start and end time automatically.

ON THE ROADMAP FOR 2027

One platform, every site.

Today, each ALVNA system runs and reports locally. The architecture is already built to grow further: a centralized cloud core syncing test results, equipment configs, and dashboards across every station. As this rolls out, ALVNA can become a standardized test platform across your organization, from a single bench to a full multi site production network.
